MCP Server

Connect AI agents to the registry via Model Context Protocol.

HTTP transport (recommended)

Hosted at https://openaffiliate.dev/mcp. Public, read-only, no API key. One line in Claude Code:

terminal
claude mcp add --transport http openaffiliate https://openaffiliate.dev/mcp

Claude (web and desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste the URL. Cursor, Windsurf and other clients that take a JSON config:

mcp config
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "openaffiliate": {
      "url": "https://openaffiliate.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Codex CLI (~/.codex/config.toml):

config.toml
[mcp_servers.openaffiliate]
url = "https://openaffiliate.dev/mcp"

Clients that only speak stdio can bridge with npx mcp-remote https://openaffiliate.dev/mcp.

/api/mcp serves the same tools and keeps working — it is the path earlier clients were given.

stdio transport

For Claude Code, Cursor, and local tools:

mcp config
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "openaffiliate": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "openaffiliate-mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Available tools

search_programsSearch by query, category, commission type, verified status
get_programGet full program details including agent instructions, restrictions, signup URL
list_categoriesList all categories with program counts

Agent skill

One SKILL.md for agents that load skills (Claude Code and others): when to recommend a program, how to query the registry, and how to treat unverified entries. Read it first.

terminal
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/openaffiliate
curl -s https://openaffiliate.dev/skill/SKILL.md -o ~/.claude/skills/openaffiliate/SKILL.md

Markdown, without MCP

Append .md to any program, category or network URL for a clean markdown version an agent can fetch and cite directly:

terminal
curl https://openaffiliate.dev/programs/vercel.md
curl https://openaffiliate.dev/categories/ai.md
curl https://openaffiliate.dev/llms.txt
